Industrial Nanotech, Inc. (Pink Sheets:INTK), an emerging global leader in nanotechnology based energy saving and sustainable solutions is proud to announce that BUILDINGS magazine has selected their patented thermal insulation and mold resistant coating, Nansulate® Energy Protect, as a top 2012 Money-Saving Product. Nansulate® Energy Protect for energy savings and protection of building walls, windows, skylights, and ceilings is part of an elite group of 77 products that will be showcased in the magazine's June 2012 issue.

Finalists were chosen based on the money-saving qualities offered to building owners and facility managers in areas such as energy consumption, water savings, lighting, envelope improvement, and maintenance.

"We are very honored to have our building energy efficiency product included in the Top Picks by BUILDINGS Magazine," states Francesca Crolley, VP of Business Development for Industrial Nanotech, Inc. "The award and upcoming June issue feature will help make tens of thousands of building owners and facility managers aware of an effective tool they can utilize for energy savings. The technology in Nansulate® Energy Protect allows building and factory owners to easily coat windows, skylights, interior or exterior walls, ceilings, and ductwork with a translucent paint-on insulation and significantly reduce energy consumption. Customers typically report saving 20% to 40% in heating and cooling costs, plus the product offers other protective benefits including mold and fungi growth resistance, UV resistance, and moisture resistance. The coating can also be used over one of the most significant heat loss culprits... windows. While giving them a slightly frosted look, it allows transmission of approximately 92% of visible light, as tested on pane glass, which offers the ability to daylight a building without giving in to huge energy losses. We believe this product is creating a significant change in the way that existing buildings are insulated and offers an attractive solution for affordable building energy savings."

According to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) buildings account for 40% of U.S. primary energy consumption and 39% of U.S. carbon emissions.

Worker health & safety is an ongoing priority in many companies. Nansulate® coatings can help you address three important areas:

1) Burn injuries;
2) Hot working environments;
3) Building health quality

The entire coating line is low VOC, non-toxic and environmentally friendly, in addition to being cost effective by reducing energy costs. Read below for ways to solve employee safety issues easily and effectively.

iem-feb-3.jpgStop Burn Injuries
Paint on layers of liquid insulation to reduce surfaces to safe touch levels.

Nansulate® High Heat and Nansulate® EPX insulation coatings give you the ability to layer on coats of insulation in order to reach a desired employee safe touch level. Both can be applied while equipment is hot and running. The EPX can be applied in a thicker per coat application and cures faster, and the High Heat has a smooth finish, as opposed to pebbled, and applies with less overspray.

Download our Temperature Gradient Chart (Fahrenheit or Celsius) for use with High Heat (EPX chart coming soon) to see how many coats you need based upon your surface temperature.

iem-feb-4.jpgCool Working Areas
Equipment heat can cause work areas to become sweltering for employees.

Whether you're in a food sensitive environment, or a typical industrial area, Nansulate® insulation coatings can be used to reduce the  heat expelled from hot equipment, such as ovens, dyeing machines, curing molds, and more.  These working environments can become a danger to employee health, especially in the summer months, when environments can get well over 100F. Take steps now to reduce heat in  working areas, by coating the exterior of hot equipment with Nansulate®.

Download our full Product Overview Sheet to find the coating that is right for your equipment.

Improve Building Health
Insulate cleanly with a mold & moisture resistant coating.

Nansulate® Energy Protect insulation and mold resistant coating keeps you from suffering from moisture and mold laden insulation. Insulation that has become infiltrated by moisture, dirt, or mold can harbor bacteria and cause buildings to become unhealthy. Nansulate®  insulates surfaces in a clear thin layer, that reduces heating/cooling costs while also being resistance to mold growth and moisture infiltration for a healthier building.

If you have a building with potential lead contamination, our clear Nansulate® LDX lead encapsulant coating is a cost effective lead abatement solution that makes it easy to make your building safer.
