High Performance Water Based Epoxy System that Combines:

Nansulate® EPX can be used on above ground or underground pipelines to provide both insulation and corrosion resistance. It can eliminate the need for the primer, exterior wrapping and cathodic protection.	Nansulate® EPX is not subject to moisture infiltration like polyurethane and similar materials. Underground pipelines are protected from corrosion under insulation.
Nansulate® EPX is an excellent protection for steam pipes. It will reduce surface temperature for personnel safety while reducing heat loss and protecting pipes from corrosion.	Nansulate® EPX is an effective solution for textile equipment, such as dyeing machines, to reduce enegy waste, save money, and cause heat process to run more efficiently.
Nansulate® EPX provides an excellent insulation for petrochemical tanks, methanol tanks, sugar tanks and other large industrial processing tanks. The chemical and flame resistance properties offer industry leading protection of assets.	Nansulate® EPX high heat coating greatly reduces heat loss from heat exchangers, providing hundreds of thousands of dollars in enegy savings for large energy users.

The hot plate temperature was 200°C (392°F) and the surface temperature of the thin metal panel coated with Nansulate EPX and placed on it was less than 60°C (140°F). Application Temperature Range: 40°F to 110°F (4°C to 43°C)

Coverage Rate: Each 2 gallon kit covers approximately:

48 s.f. @ 1/8" thick (per 2 gallon kit, or 24 s.f. per gallon)

Actual coverage rate may vary depending on surface texture. Apply with trowel or spatula.

Product Details - EPX-K Epoxy System

EPX-K is the second product in our EPX water-based epoxy line. EPX-K offers slightly higher thermal resistance than EPX-4, and the additional benefits of corrosion resistance and chemical resistance.

EPX-K has a lower viscosity which allows application by brush or industrial paint sprayer.

Temperature Extremes: From -40°F to 450°F (-40°C to 232°C)
Application Temperature Range: 40°F to 110°F (4°C to 43°C)

Coverage Rate: Each 2 gallon kit covers approximately:

48 s.f. @ 1/8" thick

Actual coverage rate may vary depending on surface texture. Apply with brush or industrial sprayer.

Special Orders

Shorter cure times are available as a custom order. Cure time can be as short as 20 minutes. Very short cure times will require application by two hose metered spray system or very small appliations.
